Our story
Rasakriti means a work of art made of रस, the flavour and feeling that stays with you. The recipes came from my grandmother to my mother, and from her to me. I still roll every laddoo by hand, the way they did.
I use pure cow ghee, whole almonds, cashews, figs and dates, and sweeten with jaggery, dates, figs or desi khand. Nothing is made until you order, so what reaches you was made that week.
Made with young artists
Each season, a young artist from The Raconteur designs the sleeve for a numbered edition of 100 boxes. The artist is credited on the box, paid a fee and a share of every box sold.
₹50 from every Kala Edition box is donated to Kalyani Kalakriti Foundation, which supports young Indian artists.
